Oral presentations
Presentation length:
- Oral abstract presentations are 9 minutes followed by 3 minutes for questions.
- Lightning talks are 2,5 minutes, no time for questions.
- Educational presentations vary in length. If in doubt, please contact the CPC member who invited you, or the CPC chair (Johanna Vannesjo, johanna.vannesjo@ntnu.no).
Slide preparation & upload:
- Please prepare your presentation in Microsoft Powerpoint or Keynote, using a 16:9 slide aspect ratio.
- All oral presentations (scientific and educational) must include a conflict-of-interest slide. You are also encouraged to include license information. See instructions below.
- Upload your slides in the Speaker Preview Room (Sala de Premsa) before the session
- Check that videos, animations, graphics and equations display correctly after uploading
- Contact technical staff for specific needs
- Personal laptops are not allowed
General guidance:
Please arrive at your session early (10-15 minutes in advance) and present yourself to the moderators before the start of the session. Make sure to not exceed the allotted time for your presentation. For a smooth transition between speakers, be prepared to proceed to the stage as soon as the previous speaker has finished. For lightning talks, please wait at the side of the stage while the previous speaker is presenting.
Conflict of Interest and License Slide
All oral presentations (scientific and educational) must include a conflict-of-interest (COI) slide. It is strongly encouraged for Lightning Talks.
Additionally, we strongly encourage to clearly identify the copyright license under which you wish to release your presentation. This will allow the ESMRMB, or any other party, to properly redistribute and reuse your content only according to the terms that you specifically agree to.
We suggest the usage of the CC-BY license, which ensures that the work will be properly attributed to you if reproduced or redistributed.
Please use our provided powerpoint template.
